In September 2025, Connections curated and delivered the full general organization, production, coordination, creative direction and communication strategy for the Patras Dolce Festival, the Greek station of the European project GELATOn the ROAD (Creative Europe 2021–2027).
For three days, the historic Agora Argyri in Patras was transformed into the sweetest meeting point of Europe, bringing together gastronomy, culture, education and community engagement.
Visual Identity & Creative Direction
Connections designed the complete visual identity of the festival and directed all creative aspects — from logos and key visuals to signage, stage design and social media assets — ensuring a cohesive experience that reflected both European scope and local heritage.
Production & Communication Strategy
The Pop-Up Museum offered an immersive journey through the global and Greek history of ice cream, with a playful Kids Corner.
Morning Activities included school visits, guided tours and mini cooking shows.
Afternoon Sessions featured seminars, creative cooking shows with local products and the Sustainable Scoops Competition, where public and jury selected the winning flavor for the European final in Italy.
Parallel Events like the Gelato Station, Gelato Photo Booth and Patras Gelato Restaurant Week extended the festival’s reach across the city.
Impact
The Patras Dolce Festival gathered thousands of visitors, showcased local products as global gastronomic signatures, and positioned Patras as a cultural hub for gelato in the Mediterranean — proving the potential of combining organization, coordination, creativity and storytelling in one cohesive festival experience.
